About the Foundation
A new chapter in service to Bihar's communities.
Kosika Aarohan Foundation is a company incorporated under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 and limited by guarantee. Born in Bihar, we work where the need is greatest — among children, women and elders who have been left behind.
Our story
The word Aarohan means ascent. We chose it because every family we work with is climbing — toward education for their children, toward better health, toward a steadier income, toward dignity.
Headquartered in Patna with our registered office in Araria, we work directly with villages, schools and clinics across Bihar. Our programs are designed with the community, not for them.
